JOSEPH A. NUNN

Vice Chair and Director of Field Education for the Department of Social Welfare

A triple UCLA graduate, Nunn served as USC's assistant dean for field education in the School of Social Work for four years. In 1991, he returned to UCLA as the director of field education. "During my four years at USC, UCLA did not win a football game," Nunn said. "I joked that I was going back home so that we could win again. In 1991, our winning streak over USC began." Nunn was named 2000 Social Worker of the Year by the California chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
