Play, listen and learn

Would you like to play basketball or soccer at lunchtime? Attend a lecture? Enjoy an art exhibit? You can! These and other activities throughout the campus are available — most of them for free — to staff and faculty.

And now, thanks to UCLA's External Affairs (EA)Department, employees have access to a monthly calendar of Learn@Lunch events. See the current calendar.

The calendar is continually updated as new offerings are announced, so be sure to check back often.

If you have an item you would like to have added, please e-mail complete information to Janie McKinney, EA employee communications specialist, who compiles the calendar. All events on the Learn@Lunch calendar must be open to employee participation.

In your e-mail, be sure to include all of the following:

* Contact information (name, phone number and e-mail address)

* Event description

* Date, time and place

* Cost of event (if there is one)

* Link to the event's flyer or Web page (if available)
