Airport shenanigans

Have you ever been stranded at an airport in a foreign country with no money and no contact info for your bank? Well, I have and let me tell you, it is not a pleasant experience.

Last Wednesday, I arrived at Heathrow filled with excitement and after picking up my luggage, approached an ATM and attempted to withdraw some funds to really begin my London experience. I clicked those magical buttons and fully expected to see some pretty slips of paper come out of the slot. Imagine my confusion and frustration when the message on the screen simply read "Insufficient funds to complete transaction."

Belle of the ball

What could be better than an impromptu shopping trip in London? The gents would probably reply "anything," but any girl can appreciate finding a gem when she least expects it, especially if it happens to be a dress fit for a princess — and at an affordable price, too!

That's right ladies, I found my very own version of the perfect princess dress on the streets of London in Covent Garden. It's a mixture between sea-foam green and teal with a silver braided rope that ties back around the waist and is as light and flowy as air. Slipping it over my shoulders, I felt exquisite and magical as I looked in the mirror to behold a modern-looking Grecian princess.

Never before have I managed to find a dress that fulfilled my every whim and fancy until London. Now, I know Prince William is attached ... but I heard Prince Harry is still free. With a dress like this, who knows? I could be the next Lady Di.
