Israeli hip-hop band
Hadag Nahash, whose sound is a fusion of hip-hop, rock , reggae and funk, will be on campus Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1-2:30 p.m., to teach a free,
interactive master class in the Schoenberg Music Building, Room 1343. R.S.V.P. here. At 8 p.m. that evening, the band will perform at The Colony nightclub in Hollywood; general admission tickets are $40. Both events are sponsored by the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for Israel Studies, the Center for Jewish Studies, the Herb Alpert School of Music and the Mickey Katz Chair in Jewish Music.
