New coach, new season

If you're fired up about the new football season, get over to Drake Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 18, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for a free UCLA Football fan event. At "Meet the Bruins," fans will be able to pick up a free 2012 UCLA football poster if they are among the first 2,000 to get in. There will be drawings (free football tickets and an authentic, game-worn UCLA jersey), DJ entertainment, autograph opportunities, food trucks and a Bruin Kids Club Fun Zone. Plus, you can hear live interviews of Coach Jim Mora and his team. Bring your camera and your gear for the team to sign. Fans will be able to get one autograph per athlete.
