Score one for Team USA

UCLA's Sydney Leroux challenges Sonia Bompastor of France during the women's soccer first-round group G match of the London 2012 Olympic Games on July 25. The U.S. won 4-2. Leroux is one of 32 Bruins competing in the London Olympic Games. Included are 24 athletes and eight coaches or delegation members. All together, nearly 100 UC-affiliated student and alumni athletes, coaches, trainers, doctors and staff — more than most countries send to the games — are proudly representing the United States and nations from around the world.
